What to check on a shoes listing

Five criteria specific to this category, in the order they change a decision.

Sole profile and stack height
The silhouette of a sole is the hardest thing to fake and the first thing that looks wrong. Profile is fully visible in a side-on photo.
Where to look: A side-on warehouse photo against the source listing image.
Internal length in centimetres
Shoe sizing labels are the least portable numbers in this market. A measured insole length is the only figure that transfers between brands.
Where to look: The seller listing, or a request for the insole measurement.
Batch or version marker
Popular models are produced in several batches with different materials and shapes. The batch name often changes what you are actually buying.
Where to look: The product name, which frequently states the batch directly.
Box volume versus weight
A shoebox is bulky and light, so it can be billed on volume rather than on the scale. Removing the box is a decision about cost, not about condition.
Where to look: The volumetric weight tool, with the box dimensions from the listing.
Upper material and panel construction
Panels stitched or glued, suede or synthetic, change how the shoe creases. Comfort and durability both follow from this, and no photo settles it.
Where to look: The listing’s material wording, treated as a claim rather than as a fact.

The first criterion is the one that most often decides acceptance. The last is the one that is hardest to check and most likely to surprise you later.

Ways into the shoes category

A few chips stay inside this category. The last two leave it, for the case where the item you want turns out to be filed somewhere else.

This category holds 1,815 recorded listings. Above roughly a thousand, filtering by brand or by price band saves more time than scrolling; below that, browsing finds things a filter would hide.

The most expensive shoes currently recorded

Twelve listings, dearest first. Sorted this way on purpose: the top of a category's range tells you what the catalogue believes the category is worth, which is more informative than the middle.

Reference prices read on 23 Oct 2026. Images are served from the catalogue's own image host and shown at source aspect ratio.

The brand share is included because it changes how useful a brand filter is. A category where most rows carry a brand filters well; one where few do does not.

Shoes questions

Four answers about this category.

How many Shoes listings does this index record?
The current snapshot holds 1,815 listings in this category, read from the catalogue on 23 Oct 2026. Counts and prices on this page come from one reading of the Oopbuy spreadsheet index on 23 Oct 2026 (11,414 rows indexed then). The index moves; a number here is a record, not a live reading.
Are these prices what I will pay?
No. Every price shown is a reference read from the source listing at the snapshot time, in the currency the source publishes. What you pay is decided on the agent's order summary, which adds the service share, shipping and any extras.
Can I filter Shoes by brand?
Yes, although the brand field is empty on roughly half of all listings, so a filter narrows the set rather than completing it. The index's brand field is empty on roughly half of its rows, so a brand page here is a starting point for a search, not a complete catalogue of that label. Where the field cannot resolve a label at all, the page says so and links a search instead.
What should I check when a Shoes item arrives at the warehouse?
The five criteria above, in the order given. The first one is the one that most often decides whether the item is acceptable, which is why it is listed first.

Every shoes row here carries its source platform

A row you cannot trace back to a seller is a bookmark. The index keeps the source on all 11,414 recorded listings, so a shortlist survives a month.
