Oopbuy FAQ

<3 id="all">Every question, grouped by what it is about

Twenty-two answers, ordered from the most common to the most specific. Each one is written to be useful on its own, so the page works as a reference rather than only as a read-through.

What is Oopbuy Coupon?
An independent reference about Oopbuy: how coupons actually work, how a points balance behaves, where the fees go, and how to read a finds list. It is not the official Oopbuy website and has no affiliation with it.
Do you publish Oopbuy coupon codes?
No, and that is a deliberate editorial position rather than an oversight. Codes rotate faster than any page can track, and a list of hundreds of codes is a page that ranks well and helps nobody. Instead the coupon section explains where working offers come from and how to confirm one on the order summary in about a minute.
Then how do I find a working coupon?
Four sources, in order of reliability: the new-account credit that arrives at registration without a code, campaign banners on the agent's own site, shipping-line promotions, and community shares — which should always be treated as unverified. The coupon page sets out all four.
How do I check a code before registering?
Add an item to the basket, go as far as the order summary, and read the totals block with the code and without it. If the number does not move, the code did not apply. The order summary is the only source of truth that exists.
What are Oopbuy points?
A loyalty balance held inside your account, accrued through qualifying activity and redeemable against part of an order. It is not a coupon, it generally carries its own expiry, and its conversion is the operator's to set — which is why this site describes the mechanics and refuses to print a rate.
Do points expire?
Assume yes unless your own account says otherwise, and check the dates rather than the balance. A large balance that lapses is worth less than a small one you spend.
Should I choose an item to use up my points?
No, and it is the most expensive points mistake there is. Choose the item first; apply the balance only if it happens to fit. A balance that changes what you buy has stopped being a discount.
What does an Oopbuy spreadsheet actually contain?
Rows: an item name, a source platform, a reference price with the date it was read, a category, and whatever measurement data was captured. It is a research artifact compiled by whoever made it, not an official document.
Does using a spreadsheet make it cheaper?
Not directly. Agent fees do not change because you arrived from a list. What changes is how much you know before committing, which saves money by preventing mistakes rather than by reducing a price.
Why do so many finds lists show the same items?
Because they are often built from the same promoted rows. A list that reproduces what the source already highlights adds nothing; one that records source platform and measurements adds something the source does not publish.
Is bulk buying cheaper in summer?
The seasonal interest in these lists is real — searches cluster around summer hauls and again before the winter holidays — but the fee structure does not change with the season. What changes is how many items people consolidate into one parcel, and consolidation is where the saving is.
Where does the money go on a parcel?
Four places: the item, the agent's service share, shipping, and any optional extras. Weight and volume decide more of the total than the fee percentage does, which is why the estimator starts with those two.
Why is my shipping more than the item costs?
Because shipping is priced on mass and distance while a small item is priced on very little. A keychain crossing a continent can legitimately cost more to move than to make.
What is volumetric weight?
A figure derived from a parcel's dimensions, used when a box is bulky and light. The carrier bills whichever is higher, the scale or the calculation, and the volumetric calculator shows the difference on a typical pair of shoes.
Do Oopbuy QC photos prove an item is genuine?
No. Warehouse photographs are visual only — they do not confirm authenticity, materials, electronics function or durability. They document what arrived; they do not judge it.
When are QC photos most useful?
In the window between the item arriving at the warehouse and the parcel being dispatched, because that is the last point at which a problem can be resolved cheaply. After dispatch, a photograph is a description rather than a decision.
Is there a checklist for what to inspect?
Three, for shoes, tops and bags. They are category-specific because the failure modes differ, and each prints to a single page.
Does this site have a star rating for Oopbuy?
No. It publishes confidence figures describing how verifiable each dimension is, because the site has not transacted with the agent and cannot honestly score service quality. Support speed, refund outcomes and authenticity are named as out of scope.
How current are the numbers on this site?
Every count and price comes from one catalogue reading, taken 23 Oct 2026, and the date is printed beside the figures. The catalogue changes; a number here is a record rather than a live reading.
What is the model behind this site?
Outbound links carry a referral parameter set to this site's domain. That may earn a commission at no cost to the reader and does not affect what is written. The disclosure states the arrangement in full, including four explicit denials.
Is this the official Oopbuy website?
No. It is an independent reference with no affiliation, no editorial input from any agent, and no commercial relationship beyond the referral parameter described in the disclosure.
How do I report something wrong?
Through the contact page, where three report types are separated and each carries a stated response time. Corrections are published on the page they affect rather than applied silently.

If you only remember four things

Four rules that between them prevent most of the ways a first order goes wrong.

Four rules, none of which requires trusting a number published by anyone other than the agent's own order screen.

  1. Confirm every discount on the order summary

Not on a banner, not on a list, not on this site. The totals block is the only place a discount has ever been real, and reading it once with and once without takes a minute.

  2. Measure before you buy, not after it arrives

Size labels mean different things in different factories. A measurement in centimetres, compared with something you own, is the only portable figure.

  3. Run the volumetric figure on anything boxed

A light, bulky parcel can be billed on its dimensions rather than its weight, and this is the most common surprise on a first order. Thirty seconds of arithmetic prevents it.

  4. Inspect inside the warehouse window

A problem is cheap to fix before the parcel is dispatched and impractical afterwards. The window is the whole reason QC exists.

Most of these questions end at the same place

Confirm on the order summary, check the measurement, price the parcel. The index records 11,414 listings with the fields those checks need.
