Three kinds of report, three different routes
Separating them is not bureaucracy. Each needs different information to be actionable, and a report that arrives with the right details gets fixed rather than guessed at.
A correction
Something on a page is wrong: a count that does not match the source, a description that misstates a mechanic, a table row that contradicts another page.
A broken find
A recorded listing that no longer resolves, a price that has moved far from the recorded figure, or an image that no longer loads.
A verification tip
A source of discount information that can be checked rather than repeated — a promotion whose terms are published, or a mechanic this site has not described.
What each report gets, and when
Stated as commitments rather than as aspirations, so they can be held against us. Where a report needs something that was not sent, the clock starts when it arrives.
Correction
Verified against the source where one exists. If confirmed, the page is corrected with a dated note, and the change is recorded in the update log where it is substantive.
Broken find
Checked at the source. A listing that no longer resolves is removed at the next catalogue refresh rather than immediately, because removals are applied in one pass to keep the counts consistent.
Verification tip
Investigated against the same five-question test every other claim passes. Tips that cannot be verified independently are not published, and that outcome is itself a legitimate answer.
What this site cannot help with
These arrive regularly and there is no version of them this site can act on. Saying so is faster than a reply that goes nowhere.
| Request | Why it cannot be handled here |
|---|---|
| An order, parcel or refund query | This site takes no part in any transaction and has no access to any account |
| A product or authenticity question | The site records listings; it does not inspect items or verify provenance |
| A courier or customs delay | Neither the courier nor the border is a party to anything this site does |
| A request to add or promote a listing | Listings are read from a catalogue, not submitted, and placement cannot be bought |
| A request to publish a code list | Declined as a matter of editorial position, and the reason is stated on the coupon page |
