Who runs this site, and what the links do
What we do, and what we do not
The four denials below are the important half. They are written as denials rather than omissions because a reader arriving from a search result is entitled to know what they are looking at.
What this site does
- Reads a public product index and republishes recorded listings with their source platform and a reference price
- Links outward to that index with a referral parameter, which is how the site is funded
- Dates every figure it publishes, including the snapshot behind the counts
- Publishes corrections on the pages they affect, with a note on what was wrong
What this site does not do
- It is not the official Oopbuy website and has no affiliation with Oopbuy or any agent
- It does not sell anything, process payments, hold accounts, or take part in any order
- It does not publish coupon code lists, and it does not accept payment for placement or ranking
- It does not guarantee authenticity, materials, electronics function or durability of any item
The links, in detail
What the referral parameter does, what it does not do, and what changes if it is removed — stated so it can be held against us later.
| Property | What is true |
|---|---|
| What the parameter is | A query value appended to outbound links, set to oopbuycoupon.com, so the destination can attribute the visit |
| What it may earn | A referral commission or account credit from the destination, at no additional cost to the reader |
| What it does not change | The price a reader pays, the pages this site publishes, or the order of any list |
| Whether destinations pay for placement | No. No operator, seller or agent has paid for a position, a mention or a favourable description |
| Whether destinations review pages first | No. Nothing on this site is submitted for approval before publication |
| What happens if a reader removes it | Nothing. Every link resolves the same way without the parameter, and the site simply earns nothing from that visit |
| What would change this disclosure | If any arrangement ever involved payment for placement, this page would say so on the day it started, not afterwards |
Four things a reader can assume and should not
Each of these is a reasonable inference from the site's appearance and none of them is true. They are listed because the gap between appearance and fact is where trust is lost.
That this is Oopbuy, or run by them
The site documents an agent's mechanics and links to a catalogue. Neither relationship is a partnership, an endorsement or an affiliation, and no agent has any editorial input.
That the prices shown are quotations
Read on 23 Oct 2026.That the catalogue is complete
It is a record of what was read, and about half of all listings carry no brand value at all. Every page that shows counts says what it does not cover.
That a clean QC photo means a good item
